Carminal Rouge
The red soils, rich in iron oxide, are characteristic of the vineyard and, are interlaced with limestone fissures which allow deep penetration of the vine roots.

Syrah & Carignan: In 225 litre French oak barrels for 12 months. A quarter of the barrels are renewed each year.

Tasting Notes
Beautiful shiny carmine red Intense and complex aromas reveal both fruity and spicy notes.
Ripe grapes, blackberry jam, redcurrant notes show how perfectly ripe the grapes were when harvested.
The maturing on the lees enabled the development of subtle vanilla and toasted bread notes.
When aerated, dried flowers and fresh hazelnut notes are coming up.
The aromatic persistence is very long, focused on elegant spicy notes.
Although full-bodied, the global structure remains delicate and light thanks to a subtle extraction of qualitative tannins.
